The parking lot was about 25% capacity, luckily Diane and I went on a weekday as I suspect weekends will be far busier.

Trailhead begins right next to the outhouses located at the north end of the parking lot. Lots of useful signage for you to read as well.

Also, Let the kids know that there are Troll dolls laying around the trails for them to find, keep those eyes peeled!

Signage leads you north, only a few meters from the start of the trail head. Onwards to the next check point.

Around 300-600m into your trip you’ll find a few of these structures, I found 2 to be exact.
It’s a mystery as to why these were made and exactly who made them. Could it be the trolls?

Ah-hah! the first troll appears, these guys move around a lot so beware! Your next checkpoint will be a small creek and will lead you to the first opening in the trees to the view of Kananaskis peak and Wasootch peak.

Kananaskis peak and Wasootch peak! Hello!

In case the fork in the trail confuses you, take the middle path as troll falls is within 200m. Hopefully the signage is still there when you arrive.

Here we are! take a moment to enjoy this beautiful waterfall or watch some of the ice climbers climb their way up in the winter!

A shoutout to my amazing cousin Diane who came home to visit and hike with me!
We both want to thank you all for joining us and hope to see you on the next hike.
